Why did I receive a Wal-Mart Credit Card?

In appreciation for being a loyal Wards credit cardholder, we are replacing your Wards credit card with a Wal-Mart Credit Card so you can continue to enjoy the same convenience and extra purchasing power you've come to expect from having a store credit card.

What do I have to do in order to use my new Wal-Mart Credit Card?

Simply sign the back of your card, place it in your wallet, and it's ready to use at over 2,600 Wal-Marts nationwide, Walmart.com, and Thrifty Rent-A-Car, Inc.

Why did my account number change?

Your account number was changed to allow it to be accepted at all Wal-Marts nationwide and at Walmart.com Your Wards card is no longer valid, as your Wal-Mart Credit Card is a substitute for it.
Does my APR or other account terms change with my new card?
No. All of the terms and conditions including your APR and credit line remain the same with your new Wal-Mart Credit Card, but the new Privacy Policy for your account (enclosed with your card) is now in effect. As always, there is no annual fee for your Wal-Mart Credit Card.
What happens to my existing Wards account balance?
Your existing Wards balance and any existing Wards purchases will appear on your new Wal-Mart statement along with any purchases you make at Wal-Mart. Your new Wal-Mart Credit Card replaces your Wards card so you'll have one convenient monthly statement and one bill to pay.
How do I make payments?
For your convenience, a payment envelope will be included with your monthly billing statement. Please note: Wal-Mart currently cannot accept payments in the stores.
